Business Blogging - 5 Tips Help You Smashl Through Writers Block

It's inevitable. Everyone hits wall. Whether you've been blogging ten weeks, ten minutes, or ten months, eventually you'll find yourself with absolutely nothing say.

Or so you think.

So what world do you do when you're stumped?

1- Talk about what you've already talked about

Pick a topic you've gone over before give some spin.

Try a new angle, like playing devil's advocate. For example, if you are a search engine journalist, last week your position was most mainstream sites need Google traffic survive, try proving your point from "con" perspective, instead "pro" position.

There are dozens ways write about same thing. By putting your point another way, you might give someone your audience what a client mine referred an "Ah-ha!" moment. That's when they realize true value items sale at your site them their business.

2- Talk about what someone else talking about

If you want have a popular blog, find other bloggers similar areas, talk about what they said their posts. Friendly debate can often spark soap-opera like drama will have both your audiences visiting both blogs see what "the other fella" had say.

3- Have yourself a good rant

The intimate nature voice blogs lends itself well opinionated, angry ramble. But a professional, don't let yourself get too unfocused, remember back up your opinion with facts.

4- Feature someone, something or somewhere

I like call mine "of Day".

As I zip around Net conducting my business research, if my attention called a resource or tool my audience might find useful, I hit my blog bookmarklet save that bad boy later.

Then when I get too busy a full blown tip, I'll crown resource, feed, tool, download or freebie featured "Deal Day", changing word deal something else more appropriate needed.

After a while, my audience started look a feature, opposed being upset at interruption my mad, mad rambles.

5- Let someone else talk a change

Invite a guest blogger, or post an article that offers free reprint rights, same way you would a newsletter. Of course you want leave resource box intact, or let guest promote their site, which brings me most common complaint about this tactic.

"But I don't want send people away from my site."

Guess what? You'll never believe what I found out. Ready?

In a recent startling discovery, I've found that 100% my visitors eventually turn off their computers or take otherwise drastic measures that cause them leave my site. Apparently this beyond prevention, though you can stall them hours sometimes with good content.

Of course you don't want send them their way prematurely, but if you're a good blogger, have done what you can make sure they sign up your blog email updates or site feed, they'll be back. Just be sure that you're giving them a good enough reason.

In meantime, since they're going leave anyway, might well be somewhere that gives you some direct or in-direct benefit.
