Blog Ping Dead

Unfortunately, this formerly reliable method getting listed Yahoo seems be dead. I have used a few times over last month try get some new pages listed Yahoo there has been no action at all.

Previously, you could easily slip through back door Yahoo by setting up a blog blogger.com or another blogger website. Then set up a MyYahoo page subscribe your own blog page. It was simple fast. Then all you had do get a page listed was blog webpage with a link presto - you were listed.

Unfortunately, this method was subject old internet problem - spam. Instead getting a few pages once a while from various webmasters, Yahoo has been inundated with sometimes hundreds pages a day from webmasters who never even looked at their MyYahoo page.

It would have been logical Yahoo have set up so you had look at MyYahoo once a while notice blog you posted, but was not case.

In any event, Blog Ping seems moment be dead. So, until next traffic flash pan comes along, I would be a bit wary any ebook or package claims give you an inside track into search engines.
