RSS FEEDS: Whither Thou Goest?

I open up 'Feed Reader' every day my laptop cruise 'news feeds' I 'subscribe' to. The amount information now overwhelming, I need just 'subscribe' only 'feeds' that are immediate interest, else I would be reading 'feeds' twenty four hours every day.

When I click a link find out more about a news item, I am taken a web page with article news it, also there are banner ads, advertising icons click on, other side news items click take me elsewhere.

The potential advertising those web pages interested marketers great, not withstanding change news article each day that web page. One day might be about Amazon 'outage's' they kept getting, or next could be a pending court case about 'cybersquatting' a brand name. Whatever article shown advertisers get their message across. It may not be part advertising ploy sell goods services from that advert, but 'brand' their products, or name, future sales.

One research company predicts internet advertising revenues will rise by 19% next year, they also predict that newspaper advertising will drop considerably.

Future habits net cruisers will be immediately open up 'feeds' cruise all latest news, contrast going Google Yahoo, inputting search terms, then cruising only those web sites that come up. Please! Don't laugh, most us still do this!

If a web site has not got it's own 'news feed', will not get any 'eyeballs'.

Those interested marketing masses should think about trying get adverts placed pages those sites with a 'news feed', with their name, or web address written prominently, cruisers come visit, but main objective create 'branding'.

The usage search engine's locating web sites will decline, unthinkable at moment most internet users, but their rss feeds directories will be most sought after be able access more 'feeds'. So search engine's will still survive, but usage habits will change.

The younger tech-savvy 18-24 year old's don't buy newspapers, they also don't switch television much anymore, so television advertisers are looking at rss feeds, especially big media companies who have millions ad dollars spend.

Remember this, anybody, even you, can put up a rss feed.
