Making Money With Your Blog

I've sure you've heard before it's a possibility make money with your blog you may be wondering how possible. And were they really meant making money or just journaling your personal thoughts? I'm not sure what they were intended but they are great ways make money.

I have a personal blog which just my own private little place go online jot down my thoughts, but I also have my business blogs.

Back In The Beginning

Now be honest with you beginning my blogging experience I really wasn't sure what I should do with my blog. I knew I wanted make money with it, but I didn't know how. I didn't know what I could do not only be a value others so they would come back my blog, but I would still enjoy writing it.

So was really important me I find a topic which I would be excited about, have enough offer so I could blog every week or so. After starting a blog that was meant just be an add my business at MommysPlace.net struggling with direction that blog, I came across one Alice Seba's blogs. Which she used write about her experience through a traffic product.

Every couple weeks or so she would update her progress through course. She would tell us all about her successes with product how great was her business. And made me think how I could do something similar.

Product/Service Focused Blog

This when light bulb moment went off my head. This when I realized what I should have been doing all along. I have been a member a exclusive coaching program mothers business.

Since joining program my business has seen great success. My income has increased more then five times what was before I joined my traffic has increased even more then that.

I enjoy believe coaching program happens have an affiliate program. I often got email from other work at home mothers who wanted know my thoughts program.

Taking a cue from Alice's blog I decided start my own such blog. And named http://MomMastermindsJourney.blogspot.com - okay, not a catchy title, but I'm no good with picking names ;)

I used blog purpose documenting my successes with my business. My projects, new content added my website, keyword phrases I was ranking for?etc. Basically anything that had do with my business, that was directly or indirectly because my joining Mom Masterminds, I jotted down.

Not only was this best move I could have made my promoting this affiliate link also served a great way really see myself successes my business was achieving also keep me track.

This one way you could make money with a blog. There are other ways you could make money with a blog if you don't want devote a blog one service or product you're promoting.

Side Kick Blog

For instance, my blog at http://www.mommyworkingvirtually.com a side kick MommysPlace.net my forums. This a blog which I update my members additions website, newsletter forums. Updating any important telecommuting or business news can promote my adsense any other affiliate programs.

So this blog serves more then one purpose. My main goal with this blog get traffic certain sections my website. I have a large website it's not always easy people find my information. So this a great way me keep certain new pages or sections my website public eye get traffic those pages. It also serves a way make money with adsense affiliate programs. And lastly gives exposure my forum my newsletter.

There can be many ways many topics which you can make money gain exposure other businesses you may have or can help creating you an expert a certain field.

Just take time really think about what you could be writing about then how you can make money with that well. You can take a look at others blogs get an idea see what other people are looking for.

Next, you need add feeds your blog. What a feed? Good question. I don't know exact way describe a feed nor do I have a lot valuable information this subject.

This still very new me, but I can tell you briefly what a feed does. You add a little graphic your blog. It can be someone's yahoo page, msn page other ways.

When they click that they can add your blog their personal yahoo page. Then every time you add a new post they are alerted their yahoo page that you have posted AND even shows topic post how long ago was posted.

This one best resources I've found keeping people coming back your blog. They can subscribe so easily they will be automatically updated whenever you have posted. It's pretty easy add an RSS feed your blog. The resource I personally use at www.feedburner.com
